I have over 30-years of experience practicing psychotherapy. As clinical director at Center for Healthy Sex in Los Angeles, I supervise a team of therapists who specialize in supporting clients & their partners heal from addictions related to sex, love & pornography. We help people develop healthy sexuality by going beyond “S” recovery & providing sex therapy to individuals & couples. From 2008 to 2018 I was Clinical Director of the Southern California Counseling Center, supervising the work of 100 counselors and 85 clinical supervisors & overseeing a decade of exceptional program growth. I hold a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University & a Bachelor of Arts in Social Psychology from Harvard University.
I utilize the Patrick Carnes task model as well as the KIST (Katehakis, Integrative Sex Therapy) model to treat sex addiction issues & help clients develop healthy sexuality in recovery. I am also trained in EMDR & take a personalized approach to treatment.
